Koeman Cup by Sportium Fundation 2025
On 10 April 2025, Club de Golf Barcelona hosted the official press conference for the fifth edition of the Koeman Cup by Sportium Fundation 2025, scheduled for 26 and 27 June 2025. The event featured the presence of Ronald Koeman, former FC Barcelona coach and current manager of the Netherlands national team, along with Pati Roura, CEO of the Cruyff Foundation. The mayor of Sant Esteve Sesrovires also attended, highlighting the institutional support behind the tournament. Prominent media outlets such as Sport, Marca, and AS covered the event, reflecting the significance of this date on the sports and charitable calendar.
The Koeman Cup by Sportium Fundation is a charity golf and padel tournament that, since its creation, has brought together iconic sports figures to raise funds for social causes. In past editions, personalities such as Pep Guardiola, Joan Laporta, and Bernd Schuster have actively participated, making the event a must for those who value both sport and solidarity. In 2024, the tournament raised over €41,000, all of which was donated to the Cruyff Foundation.
Founded by the legendary Johan Cruyff, the Cruyff Foundation works to promote sports participation among children and young people, especially those with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion. Through initiatives such as Cruyff Courts and inclusive sports programmes, the foundation creates safe spaces where children can develop, improve their health, and grow with strong values.
