The opening day began with an elegant gala dinner at Oak Restaurante, where participants, guests, sponsors, and personalities from the world of sports and society were welcomed. Ronald Koeman, as host and ambassador, shared a few words of gratitude and motivation, emphasizing the value of inclusion through sport.

The next morning began with a press conference that brought together sports and general media, both national and international, including Mundo Deportivo, Forbes, Yahoo Sports, BeSoccer, Inside Masia, YSScores, as well as representatives from the official social networks of FC Barcelona and the Cruyff Foundation, along with several local media outlets and press specialized in golf and Catalan sport. Their presence contributed to broad media coverage of the event and highlighted the solidarity and sporting importance of the Koeman Cup by Fundación Sportium. One of the most talked-about moments was the presence of president Joan Laporta, who had a highly anticipated public reconciliation with Ronald Koeman, showing that sport is also a space for unity and understanding.

Afterwards, the golf course was filled with energy thanks to a record turnout: more than 150 players, including outstanding figures such as Pep Guardiola, Bernd Schuster, Pitxi Alonso, Esteban Vigo, Mariano Angoy, Riqui Puig, Enric Masip, Jaime Alguersuari, Ferran Martínez, Paula Martí, and Lluís Canut, as well as Joan Laporta and Ronald Koeman. The atmosphere was unbeatable, with dedicated teams and a crowd eager to enjoy a unique day.

At the same time, at the Ba Padel courts, exciting paddle tennis matches were played in pairs, adding excitement and sporting variety to the event. The high participation and competitive, yet always supportive, spirit were the hallmark of a morning full of smiles, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

After the competition, all attendees gathered at Oak Restaurante at Club de Golf Barcelona to share an aperitif and a fraternal meal. In this relaxed and festive setting, the awards ceremony took place, recognizing the effort and enthusiasm of all participants. The community and celebratory atmosphere was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

The great success of the Koeman Cup by Fundación Sportium 2025 is reflected in the €75,000 raised, which will be entirely allocated to the social inclusion and adapted sports projects of the Cruyff Foundation. In previous editions of the Koeman Cup by Fundación Sportium, the solidarity fundraising has grown year after year: in 2022 and 2023, around €50,000 was raised per edition, in 2024 the figure exceeded €60,000, and in 2025, €75,000 was reached. All these funds have been fully allocated to the social inclusion and adapted sports projects of the Cruyff Foundation, helping to create opportunities for children and young people in vulnerable situations.
