9 holes Executive Course

FIELD DESCRIPTION

The Executive course at Golf Club Barcelona, is a 9 hole par 31 with a distance of 1,780 metres. This course offers an easier day of golf compared to Masia Bach, however, it provides a good technical challenge to golfers of all handicaps.

Hole 1 – Par 3 Description

Narrow par 4 with a hazard running along the left side. A controlled tee shot on the right side of the sloped fairway will leave the ball in line with the green for a comfortable second shot to the flag.

Hole 2 – Par 3 Description

Short par 3. Accuracy and distance control needed here to avoid the deep bunkers surrounding the slightly left sloping green.

Hole 3 – Par 3 Description

Par 3. With trees blocking the left side of the hole, the tee shot favours the centre or right side of the green.

Hole 4 – Par 4 Description

Par 4. A tee shot to the left of the fairway on this hole opens up the green to a more comfortable approach.

Hole 5 – Par 4 Description

Par 4 slight dogleg right. A tee shot in the middle of the fairway leads to a narrow entry to a downhill sloping green.

Hole 6 – Par 3 Description

Par 3. Going right is not advised here. A straight tee shot will land onto a generously sized green.

Hole 7 – Par 5 Description

Par 5, reachable in two for the longer hitters. This elevated par five doglegs slightly to the left. A drive and well placed second will leave a short approach to another generous green.

Hole 8 – Par 3 Description

Par 3. The green is elevated and club selection is important here. The downhill sloping green makes backspin a problem on this hole.

Hole 9 – Par 3 Description

Short par 3 distance control is key here. If the tee shot is too long, it will end up in street at the front of the course.
