The 7th Catalonia Men’s Interclubs Golf kicks off at Golf Costa Brava
The 7th edition of the Catalonia Men’s Interclubs, popularly known as the “Liguillo”, teed off this weekend at the Golf Costa Brava (green course). This popular team-based amateur tournament brings together 13 teams, each composed of 8 players, playing under the Fourball Match Play Handicap format.
The Interclubs tournament is a cornerstone of Catalan amateur golf, valued for its mix of strategy, competition, and camaraderie between clubs.
The defending champions from last season began their campaign with 8 points, placing them in 7th position provisionally. It’s a modest start, but reminiscent of last year, when the team rose steadily throughout the season to ultimately win the title.
