Chema Olazábal, Vice-Captain of the European Team for Ryder Cup 2025

A great moment for European and Spanish golf! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share this exciting news: Chema Olazábal has been named Vice-Captain of the European team for Ryder Cup 2025, which will take place from September 26th to 28th at the prestigious Bethpage Black Course in New York.

This marks the fifth time Olazábal will take on this role at Ryder Cup, the biennial event that pits Europe against the United States. This time, Chema will share duties with Thomas Bjorn and Eduardo Molinari, under the captaincy of Luke Donald.

Olazábal knows firsthand the challenge of winning on American soil. We all remember the historic comeback at Medinah in 2012, one of the most memorable moments in Ryder Cup history, where under his leadership, the European team made an incredible victory.
